Four steps to a finished Etsy listing

About five minutes, start to finish. Nothing to install, no plugin, no shop connection.

  1. Three photos

Taken on your phone, on the kitchen table. Daylight helps. A studio doesn’t.

  2. A few questions

Materials, size, who it’s for — asked only when your product needs them. These answers are what put you in Etsy’s search filters.

  3. Everything Etsy asks for

A title inside the 140-character limit, the description, all thirteen tags, a category and its attributes. Plus two to ten images, each doing a different job.

  4. You paste it into Etsy

One copy button per field. The thirteen tags in a single block. Images in a numbered zip. Tick each one off as it lands.

Yes, that last step is by hand

We never ask for your shop password. Nothing reaches your listings unless you put it there, and you read every line before it goes live. That is the point: a tool that cannot break what you’ve built.

Twenty-four product shots. Or any scene you can describe.

A listing doesn't sell on one good photo. It sells on a sequence, and every image in it has to earn its place. You pick how many — two to ten. We pick which of the twenty-four do the most for your product. A poster needs no size reference. A ring does.

  1. The hook — The thumbnail that decides whether anyone clicks, against every other thumbnail in the row. Always first, on every listing.
  2. The plain shot — The object alone, sharp and complete, on a neutral background. The one a buyer comes back to before deciding.
  3. In use — Worn, held, or working. Where a buyer works out how big it really is and starts picturing it as theirs.
  4. Doing its job — The mug full, the vase with flowers, the dish holding keys. The object at work — not the person using it.
  5. The setting — A scene that says what kind of shop this is. Repeated across your listings, it becomes recognisable.
  6. Close up — Material, finish, the mark of the hand. The shot that answers whether the price makes sense.
  7. Size reference — Beside something anyone can measure by eye, or held in a hand. Settles what your description can only say in numbers.
  8. In hand — A hand holds it in daylight, no face in the frame. Scale and texture in one glance.
  9. The other side — Back, profile, underside, open if it opens. What the thumbnail hides and buyers message you about otherwise.
  10. Where it ends up — On the wall, the table, the shelf. The purchase once it’s home, rather than on a backdrop.
  11. Flat lay — Seen from above with the materials it’s made of. Your palette and your craft in one frame.
  12. How it arrives — The box, the pouch, the tissue paper, the ribbon. Half of what turns an object into a gift.
  13. In the making — Your hands at work. The proof of handmade, which is the whole reason someone buys here instead of from a warehouse.
  14. Raw material — The finished piece beside what it came from: the block of wood, the linen, the uncut stone.
  15. The options — Every colour, size and finish side by side. Without it, a buyer picks a variant blind and changes their mind.
  16. Personalised — Engraved, monogrammed, embroidered. The shot that makes a custom order feel real before anyone orders one.
  17. What’s in the box — Everything the order contains, laid out side by side. Ends the “is the chain included?” message before it’s sent.
  18. Ready to give — The moment it’s handed over, not just the box it came in. Gift buyers look for this one.
  19. Where it’s made — Your bench, your tools, your light. Here a buyer chooses a person as much as a piece.
  20. The set — The piece with the rest of your shop around it. One listing that opens the others.
  21. How it ages — Leather softened, brass darkened, wood fed. Justifies the price better than any sentence in a description.
  22. Seasonal — Staged for the season it sells in. Search traffic here moves with the calendar.
  23. Shadow play — Leaf or blind shadows falling across it in low light. The register that reads expensive here.
  24. Lit — Lit, backlit, or glowing through. For candles, lamps, glass and resin — skipped entirely for everything else.

The twenty-four are a starting point, not a menu

Your soap on wet slate at dawn. Your ring on black velvet and nothing else. Write it once as a shop rule and every visual holds to it — on this listing and every one after. Your art direction is written in plain words, and you can rewrite it. The camera does what you say.

If your photos and your description contradict each other, generation stops and tells you. We’d rather cost you a minute than sell a buyer something you don’t make.

Move the slider. See what Kizly gives back — in hours and euros.

Assumes 5 images and 65 minutes by hand per listing (5 with Kizly), time valued at 20 €/h. Swap in your own hourly rate — the maths is all here.

Nine crafts. Every one, generated by Kizly.

None of these came from a stock library or a seller's own camera. A ring, a hand-bound journal, a bar of soap — this is the range Kizly generates for a real, handmade object.

Plain pricing

One credit is one image. A listing uses two to ten, and you decide which. None of the plans is unlimited: we pay for the AI behind every image, so the limits are real and written here rather than discovered later.

Questions people actually ask

The honest answers, including the ones about what this can’t do.

Why not just use ChatGPT?

You can, and for a first draft it’s genuinely good. What it won’t do is keep to Etsy’s shape without you policing it: 140 characters of title, exactly thirteen tags, twenty characters each, and the filterable attributes buyers narrow by. And it can’t take your photos and give you back a series of images of the same object, consistent from one to the next. That’s the part that used to take an afternoon.

What’s the catch with the free listing?

There isn’t one, and no card is asked for. You get one complete listing — five images, title, description, thirteen tags — and you keep it whether you subscribe or not. What we do ask is that you confirm your email address, because each free listing costs us real money to generate and that one click is what stops a script from opening a hundred accounts. After that, if you want more, the smallest plan is 9 € and cancels in two clicks.

Does this touch my shop, or is it even allowed by Etsy?

Both questions have the same answer: it never touches your shop. We don’t connect to your Etsy account, don’t automate a browser, and don’t read your shop pages — none of that is on the table, so there’s nothing to authorise and nothing that could get your account flagged. You get a title, a description, tags and images, and you paste them in yourself: a copy button on every field, all thirteen tags in one block, the images in a numbered zip. Nothing reaches your shop that you haven’t read first.

Is the suggested category actually right?

It’s a starting point, not a guarantee. Etsy’s category tree and its attributes change from one category to the next, and there’s no way to know Etsy’s own dropdowns without asking Etsy. So the tool proposes a category in plain language and the attributes that seem to fit, and says so right on the result — a suggestion to check in the Etsy dropdowns, not a certified value. It’s the one part of a listing we won’t claim to get exactly right, because nobody outside Etsy can.

Are the AI images honest?

It’s the right question to ask. Every image starts from photos of the real object, taken by you, and shows that object. Nothing is invented and no other product is blended in. If your photos and your description don’t match, generation stops rather than making up a hybrid of the two. What you should never do is show a colour, a size, or a finish you don’t actually sell — and the tool is built so you don’t have to.

I’m just starting out. Is this for me?

It’s who we built it for. A shop with a handful of sales usually loses its buyers at the thumbnail, before anyone reads a word. You don’t need a photographer or a copywriter to fix that — you need your own product shown properly, five times over.

How do I cancel?

From your account, in two clicks, whenever you like. There’s no notice period and no phone call. You keep the plan and the listings you’ve already paid for until the end of the period, and your generated listings stay available to download.
